alright! cool place liz & micah...i was waiting for a peek at ur new place. and simon is sooo adorable!! mahalo for the visual video update - we miss you!
Gotta love Ikea! It looks cozy, thanks for the tour! I couldn't help but think of one of my favorite books EVER when I saw the tree out of your window "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" if you haven't read it, you should! And of course Simon is such a good, handsome boy! Enjoy the changing of the autumn leaves!
Thanks for the tour. It's fun to see what an apartment in New York looks like. How is the neighborhood where you live? Are you able to go out and take walks and go running? We have that same "dresser", that Simon has, for Kaiya although we will be using it for toys and stuff. Good way to end the video with a nice picture of Simon!
FINALLY got it to work! Our Internet service has been pretty patchy lately, but thanks for a tour! It's so nice to have a visual on you guys. We love and miss you all.
Great Tour. It reminded me of the tour of the White House Jackie Kennedy did back in the day. I think you and Jackie with your photographpy, journalism interest and sense of style have much in common. You need to think about a pill box hat, however. I think you could get by with it in your diverse neighborhood. As for the tour, I especially liked the Animal Crackers and Cocoa to Drink picture. My little four-year-old student, Martha Murray, is memorizing that for her recitation piece this week. She likes the waffles with syrup and cinnamon toast parts. It appears Simon has some fondness for food as well.
I feel slightly foolish, but Micah pointed out to me the other night that the rhyme on Simon's blanket is actually, "Animal crackers and cocoa to drink, that is the finest of suppers I think." Although I do think it has a cool, unconventional feel the way I had been reading it.

Very nice. I especially like the teal and orange corridors. :)
I'm so jealous that you get to live in New York and I don't. Your apartment is really big for the city.
Thanks Lizzie! IKEA seems like the place to go, but I especially like Simon's dresser and the little rug. :)
