Homeward Bound
My brother Chris is arriving home from his mission to Brazil today. He had a 9 hour layover at JFK, so early this morning Simon and I made the trek out there so Chris could meet his one and only nephew for the first time. I know Chris was super excited about this, espeically because Simon was born the day before Chris's birthday, so they are pretty much birthday buddies.
This means that when I fly home next week it will be the first time since Micah and I got married (3 1/2 years ago) that all of my siblings will be in the same place at once! I'm sad that Micah won't be there too, but I'm excited to stay up late talking with my siblings and letting them have some quality time with their favorite little boy ever.

i can definitely see the family resemblence! how nice to all be together! it's hard to live so far away- tickets are more expensive and someone's gotta work. thomas couldnt come out to my sisters wedding and for the first time in a while everyone was there- with a photographer to document the moment- except for t-mass. but you are right, it is really nice to just kind of be a kid in your parents house for a while.
That's so great! It definitely gets harder as families grow and spread out. I'm glad you're taking advantage of the opportunity!
It's so fun to all be together, isn't it?? I'm excited for you!
Chris looks great and how fun that you got to see him during his layover--but goodness did they really have to torture him with a 9-HOUR LAYOVER???! Sheesh.
Have fun with your family! Oh, and when is the next Blackhurst scheduled to depart??
fun that you'll all be home together!!
you and your sibling all look so much alike! :)
If Sarah goes on a mission she won't leave for about 2 years, so that is kind of a long time for everyone to be home. But if she doesn't, then Jess and Nate would be eligible at about the same time, in 5 years.
